of Richmond Va. June 7th at 7pm. All players are to report
to camp to prepare for battle.

Camp 2008 Updates

Thunder Camp 2008

Usually the Virginia Thunder camp is full of high speed veterans and the areas best players trying out for a spot on the coveted Thunder roster. But with the firing of one coach many players have decided not to return to the team this season. The Thunder is definitely in a state of transition but the show doesn't stop because a couple of people decide not to return. This season out of a roster of about 55 from last season only 5 Veterans have even shown up and that's what I call a show stopper. It will be amazing to see who's roster these players names turn up on. In the words of my grandmother "The devil is at work baby". Slowly but surely the Thunder roster is being filled with a new generation of players that actually show up to practice and are motivated and ready to play. And that alone is the first part of another winning season. Expect to see a different thunder with some shiny new tools in the box. The Thunder is vigorously recruiting all positions for the upcoming season that doesn't mean we are accepting just anyone with a pulse but it mean we are accepting true hard nosed football players who want to win!!     Cost:         $20 Registration Fee (Non Refundable Due the day of Try Outs)

Important Info: All potential players are to bring cleats, tennis shoes for the track. Your own water bottles/Gatorade. and dress for the weather.
